Boo Science!

Oorah Art!

The badger is exposed to play-doh in Experiment #2. If you think it is wrong to experiment on animals, rest assured, it is only a codename for my very unbreakable 2 yo human son.

Results:
He is interested in the Play-doh but only breaks it into tinier and tinier pieces, investigating this new substance. He is captivated by this break-away toy, finally examining the slightly sparkly remains rubbed between pinching fingers… but its only play-doh.

Half of play-doh is still play-doh.

It made me think of science trying to understand by breaking it down. A particle man, smashing particles to get smaller and smaller particles, hoping to find the god particle. That’s a pretty sad thought to me, the man trapped in a race to define all matter as we know it in one unified theory, I hope he looks up from his work and sees this spinning madness that is happening all around.

I want to say to him, “Its play-doh all the way down, brother”.

The moral of this Story is,

Art, not Science,

Just get a whole bunch of it in your hands and make something.

We plan to expose this creature to other art materials and record the results in such a haphazard manner. Stay Tuned.

P.s. In some cultures the feathered serpent made this world.
